We are announcing the ability to print receipts using the built-in printer on supported Adyen payment terminals in Dynamics 365 Commerce. This feature will reach public preview on October 2, 2026.
How does this affect me?
This feature enables organizations to design and manage receipt formats in Commerce headquarters and print them directly from an Adyen payment terminal, without requiring a separate receipt printer.
When this feature is enabled, administrators can configure receipt formats by using the existing receipt designer in Commerce headquarters and associate the receipt profile with the hardware profile used by the Adyen payment terminal. After a customer completes a payment, the terminal can print the receipt using its built-in printer.
This capability can reduce the need for dedicated receipt printers and allows store associates to accept payments and provide receipts from a single device.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
