Title: Users may be unable to drag and drop email messages between folders in new Outlook and Outlook on the web User impact: Users may have been unable to drag and drop email messages between folders in new Outlook and Outlook on the web. More info: Users were still able to move email messages by right clicking and selecting the desired folder or they could close the My Day pane when completing drag and drop. Final status: We've validated that the fix to correct the impact caused by the update to the My Day pane has completed deployment and the impact has been remediated. Scope of impact: Users may have been unable to drag and drop email messages between folders in new Outlook and Outlook on the web. Start time: Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 AM UTC End time: Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 8:30 PM UTC Root cause: A service-side update added additional items to the target locations of the My Day pane, which resulted in the impact. Next steps: - We're reviewing our update release standards to ensure similar issues are identified and corrected ahead of deployment to prevent this from reoccurring.
