Final status: We've completed processing the backlog of impacted Microsoft 365 Apps usage reports and validated that admins are now able to view up to date usage reports as expected. Scope of impact: This issue may have potentially affected any admin attempting to view Microsoft 365 Apps usage reports in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Start time: Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 12:00 AM UTC End time: Monday, July 20, 2026, at 9:06 PM UTC Root cause: An issue with the pipeline for our upstream data source responsible for timely report data in the Microsoft 365 admin center was causing Microsoft 365 Apps usage report delays. Next steps: - We're analyzing the affected data pipeline to isolate what additional performance optimizations we can implement to improve the resiliency of our service to ensure similar imapct scenarios don't occur in the future.
