More info: The error stated "You're using an old version of Teams. Update the app to continue using Teams on this device". This banner appeared in the Microsoft Teams desktop app regardless of the version being used.
Final status: We've updated the configuration of the offending service update and confirmed that impact is remediated.
Scope of impact: Users on newer versions of Microsoft Teams may have been impacted.
