More info: This affected users in Europe with Microsoft Purview retention policies configured for Microsoft Teams and Copilot Chat, and message deletions in Microsoft Teams and Copilot Chat took up to 21 days to process, rather than the up to 7 days set by the retention policy. The compliance copy for Microsoft Teams and Copilot Chat was deleted according to the configured retention policy Service Level Agreement (SLA). Final status: We've fully processed through the backlog of deletion requests and confirmed that impact has been successfully remediated.
