Microsoft Purview: Data Loss Prevention – Default Protection Controls for Exchange Online in the event of classification failure

Default protection controls for Exchange Online is available in public preview. This release gives administrators fine-grained control to create DLP policies based on specific classification or text extraction failure types — such as timeout, throttling and other scan errors — rather than one blanket policy for all failure conditions.
